Is it ok for heart pain when laughing?

Recently I've been having this thing where, if I laughed hard enough, I would feel pain in my heart or lung, that general area. I Google and Google and Google, to find nothing about this. Yes I know that I should see a doctor but... I'm too shy for that. Anyways, it's been happening for about 2 weeks now, I don't remember what day it started, but I know it was when I started a diet. I don't know if somehow this has to do with me trying to stable myself with the diet, and my body can't handle all of this fluctuating and I'm just stressing something out, but I really need help, I don't know if this will get worse, Thanks :P.

  • This probably isn't going to make you feel any better, but it is possible to die of laughter:

Obviously, this is a health issue, and it would not be wise to pay a lot of attention to any responses you get here.

You say you're too shy to see a doctor about this. Dying due to shyness is a lot more common than death by laughter; it's not uncommon for people to be so embarrassed by something that they don't see a doctor until it's too late.

  • sounds like the arteries in the heart might be mostly occluded. i would start with a cardiologist if he says nothing is wrong see a witch doctor because someone has a voodoo doll .

  • It's more likely muscle pain, pain when laughing is a common complaint for people with pulled/enflamed muscles in that area.
Get checked though can't be too careful ..

  • Stop laughing so much and see if it stops and/or go off the diet and see if it stops.
