It goes to the extent of infatuation and a plausible life partner. Do you think it’s viable ?
I understand where you're coming from cause I'm in the same situation, but I wouldn't consider it normal. As long as your in legal age it's all up to you!
I am , but as of now the gap is just too much - even the mindset generation gap - I’m 20 and he’s 36. He’s close to my uncles’ age :\
But I’m really into the person .
Well in most societies it’s much more “acceptable” if the older party is the guy so it’s not too wierd
Thanks much :)
I've seen a 15 year old boy who was an uncle. (seen as in overheard a small bit of conversation)
As long as you are the legal age it's fine.
I don't think it's normal, it's certainly not unheard of, but it's not common either. I think that the majority of people tend to be more compatible with partners who are of the same generation, and thereby within a ten year age gap.
I'm with someone that's 14 years older than me. Everyone is different and I've never really had a limit for partners (of course not extremes).
When him and me are together we don't think about the age gap. We are serious and live together, but yes its a big gap. You really have to be clear and ready for being different places in life, especially when we are still in our 20s I would say.
We started as friends and really enjoyed each others company, none of us thought it would ever go any further but well.. it did :P
16 years is a big age gap. Think it through. Imagine life 5 years from now.
Yes I did. That’d be myself 25 and him 41. That’s indeed a big gap.
